We will evaluate your property and tailor fit a weed program that will best address your needs. This includes a thorough discussion with you so that we understand the desires that you have regarding weed control.
We will identify species of weeds needing control and choose the appropriate herbicides needed. Sensitive areas will also be considered and the product best suited will be used.
This service provides control for 99% of annual and perennial weed populations. Control is achieved by an initial pre & post-emergent herbicide application during the months of active rainfall (December – March). Additional treatments of post-emergent herbicide are applied as needed during the remainder of the year. This is our premium weed control treatment and is excellent for properties where almost no weeds can be tolerated.
Our program is structured as a one-time herbicide treatment, provided annually. An application of both pre and post-emergent products kills existing weeds and prevents weeds from germinating. This application is made during the winter months (November – March) due to rainfall being necessary to incorporate the pre-emergent herbicides into the soil. These products last throughout the summer and into fall but slowly lose their efficacy. It is then time for another application in order to maintain a “bare ground” site. We have found this simple routine to be
very easy to schedule as well as economical for our clients.
This service provides control for 90-95% of annual weeds. Control is achieved by a one-time pre & post-emergent herbicide application during the months of active rainfall (December – March). No additional post-emergent treatments are provided. Perennial weeds such as Johnson grass, Bermuda grass, and others will not be controlled. This service is great where a few weeds can be tolerated and is less costly than the Year Round Control service.
This service provides for the control of existing annual and perennial weeds. Treatment can be done almost any time of the year. A post-emergent herbicide will be applied with one or more applications being needed. Existing weeds will be controlled initially, however seeds can germinate and re-growth of weeds can occur. This treatment is a good choice for perennials such as Johnson grass, Bermuda grass, and others during summer months when these weeds are actively growing. This is also an option when a weed treatment is desired that does not need long time control.
This treatment is designed to control annual and perennial weeds under asphalt or similar road base products. Applications to asphalt areas will be made prior to paving. On other road base products, application of herbicide can be made either before or after road base is put down. This treatment will control weeds for one year.
